EMB24 In Fixture Lighting Controllers

The EMB24 family is Synapse Wireless’s next-generation embedded fixture control platform, designed to give luminaire, fixture, and sensor manufacturers a flexible way to integrate SimplySnap wireless lighting control directly into their products.

Built for OEM integration, the EMB24 is available in multiple configurations—including board-level, flying-lead, and cased versions—to support a wide range of fixture designs and manufacturing requirements.
A key advantage of the EMB24 is its ability to automatically detect and support either 0–10V dim-to-off or DALI-2 D4i control using the same dimming connection. This allows manufacturers to use a common controller and wiring architecture across multiple fixture designs, helping to reduce SKU complexity and simplify inventory and production processes.

The EMB24 also provides dedicated sensor inputs for integration with PIR motion sensors, dry-contact and momentary switches, and third-party motion sensors with open-collector outputs (Sensor B only). For DALI-2 D4i applications, the EMB24 supports power monitoring for greater visibility into fixture operation and energy use.

Designed as an extensible control platform, the EMB24 also provides a foundation for additional control capabilities, including future DMX support for entertainment, architectural, sports, and specialty lighting applications.

Combined with the SimplySnap wireless lighting control platform, the EMB24 gives OEMs a versatile path to add intelligent control, sensing, monitoring, and connectivity directly at the fixture level.
