LED Drivers for Sports Lighting - Dynamic Behaviors

The messages sent from our embedded controllers to the attached LED drivers are extremely fast. Most drivers have a delay built in for dimming to allow a smooth transition when a dimming command is received. LED Drivers used for these Dynamic Behaviors must be capable of making changes to light levels extremely fast to properly deliver all the dimming commands sent from the gateway.

LED Driver Requirements for Dynamic Behaviors

Lighting companies that want to offer Dynamic Behaviors are expected to utilize a Certified D4i LED Driver or a Fast Dimming 0-10V Driver* along with a Synapse DIM10-087-06 or ZHA-S1 controllers. The DIM10-087-06 controllers work with both D4i or Fast Dimming 0-10V drivers; the new Zhaga ZHA-S1 controller from Synapse can only be used with certified D4i drivers.

• Fast Dimming 0-10V LED Driver- The Inventronics drivers listed below include “fast dimming”* capabilities.

* Note- The Inventronics “fast dimming” specifications are 70ms for dimming transitions and 300ms for off-to-on transitions. This capability is not the default setting on the drivers listed below, by default they are set to slow transitions. The Fast LED Drivers must be programmed for Fast Dimming before installing the LED Drivers in the luminaire or mounting the luminaires on poles. Inventronics can provide assistance, Hardware and Software to program the LED Drivers.

Lighting companies that want to offer Dynamic Behaviors with Color are expected to utilize the Synapse DIM10-087-06 or ZHA-S1 controllers with certified D4i drivers.
