MGP gateways may fail to disconnect and reconnect properly
Cannot schedule two separate scene transitions in the same minute
Scheduling offsets greater than 60 minutes may not work as expected
When adding lights to zones within the Zone page, the lights won't immediately follow the Zone's behavior if the behavior is set to On, Off, or Dimmer. To correct this, you can edit the Zone and then save again. This will ensure the Zone behavior is sent to the lights.
When adding/removing lights from or editing the details of a zone from the Zone page, complex behaviors (i.e. not On, Off, Dimmer) will be applied when the changes are saved. Depending on the behavior configuration, this can lead to lights changing dim level.
The user may not be notified if the user login has expired and the browser window remains open.
Required Fields may no longer show on Add/Edit Light/Sensor/Zone pages.

Upgrade Guidance¶

Synapse Wireless recommends upgrading existing systems to 3.1 and then to 3.3 prior to installing this upgrade.
Power must not be removed during the upgrade process. Take any necessary precautions to insure uninterupted power to the site controller.
Rebooting the gateway after upgrading is recommended to take advantage of new settings, features, and security improvements.

Known Issues¶

When adding lights to zones within the Zone page, the lights won't immediately follow the Zone's behavior if the behavior is set to On, Off, or Dimmer. To correct this, you can edit the Zone and then save again. This will ensure the Zone behavior is sent to the lights.
When adding/removing lights from or editing the details of a zone from the Zone page, complex behaviors (i.e. not On, Off, Dimmer) will be applied when the changes are saved. Depending on the behavior configuration, this can lead to lights changing dim level.
The user may not be notified if the user login has expired and the browser window remains open.
Required Fields may no longer show on Add/Edit Light/Sensor/Zone pages.

Resolved Issues¶

Changing gateway latitude/longitude location will now update the location on the map.
5-button switch no longer reports disconnected after database upload.

No Longer Supported¶

Solar noon has been removed as a schedule option - any events scheduled for solar noon will be set to actual noon (relative to the system's timezone). Offsets related to solar noon will be removed.

Resolved Issues¶

When upgrading from this release to a future release using a USB flash drive, the LEDs will now maintain a constant color (green = success, red = failure) until the USB drive is removed.
DIM10-087-00 controller will now default to the external antenna.
Offline map tiles may now be downloaded successfully in all regions.

Upgrade Guidance¶

If the site controller is running SimplySNAP Version 3.0, Synapse Wireless recommends that you run a Census before proceeding with the upgrade. You will need to wait for the Census to complete before proceeding with the upgrade.
